Hello from Atlanta

Hi all - I'm new to real estate investing but very eager to learn. I have some savings that's sitting in a bank not earning me anything. I'd like to get my feet wet in either a relatively easy flip for a first timer or a rental property. I'm unsure of where to look for properties and financing. I'd like to stay local in Atlanta area but a safe neighborhood. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've set up key word searches, read the starting out guide, listened to some podcasts, etc. I also went to the Success Path seminar that is supposedly promoted by Tarek and Christina that really isn't. I did get all caught up in the hype and signed up. But after some research, I decided to cancel...thankful for the 3 day rescind option. Anyway, they offered to decrease the 3-day class from $1,997 to $997. I'm seriously considering this class now. Any thoughts on the actual class from people that have taken it would be appreciated. Thanks for all the help! I'm excited about learning from the BP community. Niki

I took the sound advice if my fellow BP  peers.  I did, however, join BP pro hoping to learn all I can.
