To bounce off of what Gilbert is getting at, I understand the concept of getting together the $50k or so for the minimum down payment.

I think most have a network of people they can bounce ideas of off, and a willingness to soak up all the info they can (in places like BP).  

Lots of questions bouncing around in my head, sorry for the long post, but I would appreciate any feedback. 

Interest rates are bouncing around near 4.5% at 30 years.

Same with grills, and tiki torches.I don't have any clauses in my lease agreement to prohibit any of this explicitly, but I have a clause that prohibits any action that may invalidate or increase my insurance - which allows me to not allow fire pits, bounce houses, trampolines, above ground pools etc...But recently I have had to send out various notices asking tenants to remove tiki torches and fire pits. 

You can hire a housekeeper and bounce to Thailand for 6 months and not care.That's better than any retirement plan I've ever been pitched by a "professional".

If you don't payback the entire balance by the time the promotional period is over, the balance bounces up to the regular interest rate.
