Fun Landlording Situation

Hi Guys,

Disclosure - not asking for legal advice - just bouncing this off BP see if I can get some friendly suggestions;

I have an apartments that had two girls on the lease.  About 6 months in these girls decided that working and living together was too much and one wanted out.  The other agreed to carry the lease by herself.

The ends this month and she is going to move on.  The question is what should happen with the security deposit?  Who gets how much after deductions between 6 month tenant, 12 month tenant, and landlord?

Thanks in advance.   - Jim
