It's a shame, but the reality is, a lot of guys assume you don't have experience or knowledge because you're female.

Nothing to be ashamed of.

It is a shame but the old cliché of "give an inch and they take a mile" is alive and well.

I also have a tenant who is on a fixed income and it is a shame to see a hard working person retire with next to nothing. 

Its a shame you didnt READ the first line................seeing you have been on the site for 100 years its a shame you cant distinguish between useful factual additions to a thread and blatant pointless long rambling repeats of stuff we have read a thousand timesEvery day is a school day, but i have learned im not going to learn anything by reading the same negative , badly written articles that dont have any real association to the subject at handIm perfectly happy i can sort the wheat from the chaff thanks

As a lifelong learner (autodidactic polymath, to be precise) who has been involved in a wide range of businesses, I've picked up a lot of tricks along the way and it seems a shame not to pass them along, especially if it cuts down on my time demands.

Nor do I know specifically who @Chris Seveney is referring to, but I agree with him it’s clear that there are several lenders on this board (and they come and go) who are playing games and not anyone you want to do business with.It’s a shame that with all the money BP charges, they don’t actually vet their lender list.

This is needed in this country...it is a shame for anyone not to have access to healthcare...one never knows when one will cross the "line of uninsurabiltiy" and then be dependent on healthcare to save our lives.

I’ve spoke to others that have had the same issue, it’s a shame but it happens. 

My family said it would be a shame to lose 24k in rents the next 2 years and that I should buy, because what if we could buy a nice home, get two years out of it as a primary residence, then at the end either rent it out (If I could get lucky and find a way to make a 1,250$ mortgage for an area that rents for like 950-1000$ work) or in the likely scenario I cannot get my mortgage rate down to 800$ in two years, we could sell.
