Before anyone suggests building a home or putting a mobile on it, I am aware of that option but this post is specifically to ask about your opinion on putting storage units on these empty lots.Please consider that these are 'average' areas so a sheet metal structure with a chainlink fence around would be out of the question.

I am a younger entrepreneur (32) I own a construction business, car wash and a mini storage facility.

She says is just two hours worth of work but I tend to disagree after looking at the existing trim in the house, all the trim from the floor to the ceiling needs an overhaul to look new again.In the five years they lived in the home the owners replaced or renovated the following:AC, dishwasher, windows (double paned with blinds in between panes, can open to reach the blinds), flooring (throughout was very nice but I'd replace the peel-n-stick with laminate so it would be laminate throughout), sheetrock, texture, and paint throughout, ceiling fans and light fixtures throughout, sinks in both bathrooms, chain link fence dog run added, and a storage shed.Other positives:  I talked to neighbors and they are very happy living there, there is a beautiful and big rec center, gym, kids playground, monthly potlucks, people wave to each other as they drive by, there's a craft group that meets, etc. 

I also own a business called www.GruntsMoveJunk.com and I needed a building with lots of shop and storage space for the equipment so 999 Barry Rd was a primary residence with business storage... 2 years for this building and hopefully sell it for a commercial building.Speaking the to Grind!

Doing this has cost me about $2,000, I just picked up the phone to talk to other storage unit owners about their operations-at no cost!

There are two big storage rooms, and a divider splinting the basement, which gives it a two room area to bring friends, and to have a workshop in the basement.
