You need to lie to the permitting office and tell them that you live in that house, and they'll allow you to pull the permit as the owner occupant.Of course, if something happens after you sell, this will be additional grounds for lawsuit or criminal action against you.Honestly, this guy is EXTREMELY cool...Yet, you're concerned he may harm your family if you sue him?
