I currently have my own contracting company and just got my Realtor's licence.

It doesn't make sense to get your licence for one transaction.Even more importantly, hiring an experienced broker who knows what they're doing will likely put more money in your pocket anyway!

Hey Everyone I have a question about obtaining my real estate licence.

Thanks for the welcome guys, I've been a commercial asset manager for 5 years(licenced RPA), real esatete agent/broker (on and off) for 12 years, General Contractor, and my last position was as real estate consultant for a large contruction project.Now I'm doing trustee sales in the los angeles area, its a tough business, but I like it.

I have a MA licence and can run MLS comps.What are you looking to do with it?  

There are always people around, including certain Licenced Realtors, who because they can sniff a profit, will find loopholes in the Banks intention to find the Buyer who ACTUALLY wants the property, but that sort of double-closing REO activity should not be attempted by the uninitiated, or by those who subscribe to what has been called "Kumbaya ethics" ie. those who want to honour the Banks intention!  

Clearly you need to avoid meth labs but generally speaking, a rental agreement and driver's licence/photo id gives adequate protection.Remedies for late or non payment--> This is one of the BEST thinks about storage.

I was wondering if I got my closing agent licence if that would make it more legal or if I would need a full real estate agent license.

Hey Bran,I am in Georgia and there are no licencing law's needed to do a master lease here.
