After reading so many posts about GURUs....I decided to join BP and educate myself.

That’s the magic of real estate compounding over time, and it’s stories like yours that really highlight this.. from what i read in the street journal, that slow build often outperforms shorter-term stategies.From an investor-friendly agent’s perspective, being willing to dig into the neighborhoods (driving for dollars) and having a robust network.. from probate attorneys to local contractors.. can pay off big.

You can also search Google and read reviews.

Read books that you find on this website and try to avoid YouTube.....

Finding deals can be done numerous ways but I suggest you just start reading bigger pockets for a few months to start.

@Jay Hinrichs  That is maybe why I read it was only legal in California. 

I would highly recommend your son reads "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki.

I'm a professional musician and have dreamed of being in the real estate game for many years while I read books and listed to pods on the subject.

I regularly listen to 2 BP podcasts and am reading about real estate investing right now.

I've read about "Land Lenders", I don't know how they operate or what they look for.
