The existing number of vacation rentals are so far over those caps that anyone who gets on the wait list today will likely wait 5-10 years before they're up for a permit.I do think this is the natural progression of what is still a relatively new industry.

Just be prepared to provide POF once the deal progresses and consider partnering with experienced investors if needed.Good luck!

Meetups are great, do your diligence on gurus as much as your would anything else in real estate, but you have to remember some of these gurus are worth a lot of money and have the knowledge, training, coaching, and most importantly network and influence to help accelerate your business. so are they expensive .. yes.. could they be worth.. yes, depends on you.. your ability, and progress. but if you dont have money, then i suggest learning everything you can for free, go to local meetups and reias that dont pitch and connect with as many experienced investors as you can, you may connect with me as well, my contact info is on my page.

I think it can be an easy transition to make from healthcare to Real Estate when you break down the things that you do on a daily basis.In terms of marketing yourself, use your social networks to announce your career change, and to post updates to your progress.
