STR loophole works under different rules, and you can read more about it here:https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/51/topics/1122635-the-s...While REPS is clearly not recognized by CA, their conformity to the STR loophole rules is unclear.

From what I have heard, primarily through these forums, it can be tough to do just about anything yourself. 

This strategy is especially effective given the current lack of entry level homes in Chicago.Our two cents - thanks for bringing this topic to the forums!
