While short-term rentals in areas like Kissimmee, Florida, can pay for themselves and offer lifestyle benefits, the ROI typically doesn’t match what I see from my traditional portfolio of long-term rentals in North Texas.That said, short-term rentals can still be a great choice, especially if you're drawn to the area and the opportunity to combine personal use with investment income.

IF it is a real problem, then yes, fix it.I would build a fir-in wall out of 2x2s and insulate it heavily (Rockwool comes to mind https://www.rockwool.com/north-america/) There is also drywall that is made for this.

At yet another sale there was a brick row house/town house for sale that looked good from the street, but since it was in the middle of the row, to see the back of the house, you had to walk around the block and see the house from the alley, where the entire 3 story brick back wall of the house was laying in the back yard, and there was no back wall standing. 

I got my first FHA  3.5% down  4-unit building in Tilton, NH (An hour and a half north of Boston).

Continuing on the north coast, another idyllic vacation rental location is Pacific City Oregon.

I currently have my investment portfolio all in North Jersey and planning on purchasing a number of units in Syracuse.

Would it be a good idea to create an LLC, let's call it "2500 Oak Street LLC" (fictitious new address) then list the new LLC as the owner of the home?

Currently have three more in progress right now in both North Carolina and South Carolina.
