Though maybe I'm the jaded one...As for what keeps me going, the long term goals I have for myself and my family.

When you become as jaded as me it makes complete sense!

I hate to be jaded but based on what you have said, your mentor does not have your best interest at heart.

They will write an order with teeth based on contract law.You are right that the OLA has jaded me in this business, but it wasn't their political articles, it was the 750 threads in the "Landlord Help" forum reading about people's actual experiences with tenants and LTB that taught me what I need to know to protect my business.

I am also going to go out on a limb and assume they these lawyers do not hire you to investigate a LLC when they DO NOT suspect fraud.So perhaps you are jaded by the findings that you should have logically expected?

While that's good in some ways because it can make someone more savvy, it can also make someone very jaded about human beings in general.
