Since I will invest in the Augusta, GA, I'm trying to figure out what strategy to take for the next 3-5 years.

Real estate is the best way to create a life to enjoy the most precious asset we all have, time.  

Two thoughts:You cannot make more time - and, as such, time is more precious than money. 

The first portfolio of homes…As I discussed in my previous post, I don’t remember seeing a singular market cycle shift event/turning point in Augusta in 2008/2009.

I am a Canadian that has been looking at doing BRRRR in the USA, specifically in the Augusta area.I have a realtor, property manager, and rehab contractor in place.What I am struggling with is the foreign aspect for me.

Improving Augusta one home at a time…In the fall of 2009, Auben Realty was officially in business.

However, if you're looking for a strong market with lower numbers, you do not have to leave the state of Georgia to find them.Areas such as Athens, Augusta, Statesboro, as well as Macon, to name a few, provide great opportunities for flipping and even higher potential for buy-and-hold strategies since all four are college towns.

And start putting my precious time towards my own.
