Over the past couple of years, I’ve learned a lot about the business—like how to analyze markets, underwrite deals, and connect with brokers.

We also have a finish carpentry business.

The down side is that STRs are more work, need to furnish it, pay for utilities and WiFI but in the right market (vacationers and business travelers) it could work. - If I were looking at cash flow as a really important important metric, I'd consider starting a business.

I am a professional photographer and have been doing that for the past 18 years, so I'll also be building my business in NC from the ground up!

However, I am still very hands-on for my management business, typically logging 80 hours a week between my two jobs.

I'm starting to see and hear signs of interest in real estate, and anticipate that if there is an increase now that it leads to a busy spring and summer.I would like to hear from others who are localized to Colorado and just see what you gals and guys are seeing and experiencing as well.

I think it’s a more recent consideration (maybe in the past decade or so based on my digging / anecdotal feedback) and perhaps some of you that have been in the business longer and simply renewing old policies may be getting a pass.  

If you have no experience in commercial real estate, much less mobile home park management, this is an intricate business not well-suited for out-of-state when you are getting started.

I am a 23 year old who recently graduated from college with a business degree focusing on real estate finance and development.
