Get the brush on stuff not the spray stuff.

I generally buy the 26oz brush on type and use one of the 4inch paint rollers to put it on evenly.

Go pay someone to model out various scenarios so you can make an informed decision instead of going off broad brush statements and assumptions.

After the shower, I blow dry it on low heat, brush it out, then I use a mixture of beard balm and beard oil.

Long term solution for us is to leave a large bait station outside and clear back some of the brush closer to the cabin.
