truth is if your doing really well you don't want to leave the market to go on vacations 

Hello Letitia, I truthfully have not really touched the property.

@Cody Barrett yes, if an investor hasn't made some mistakes they aren't being truthful or haven't been in the game long enough.

AB 2819 unfairly keeps rental property owners in the dark and from knowing the truth about prospective tenants.

The biggest mistake I see here is that most people dont tell the sellers the real truth about what they intend to do with their house, which is why you keep having to "make up stories" which should never be the case!

Everything everyone has mentioned has some truth but at the end of the day you need to analyze your market and come up with your own opinion. 

Turns out the seller's brother was not telling the full truth.  

I know you are probably not talking about Detroit and I know it is not fair, but I'm telling you the honest truth from my perspective.

Truth be told, when someone runs into a deal in downtown A2 it's usually an off the market property.

On the other hand, I have had people who frustrated me, but I knew I was in for a full rehab when they finally moved, so I kept encouraging them to stay (and told the truth to prospective new landlords!)
