I'm about to leave to be stationed overseas and was looking into property management to manage both my rental and my current home while I'm gone.

One day I went to a gas station and the owner was taking them down and tucking them behind a Ice Freezer.

The issue came in though because the house had apparently been abandoned by the former owners when the foreclosure had gone through (and on a side note, I found out they owned several gas stations and were apparently doing fine financially but they'd somehow borrowed basically TWICE the current value against that house and figured it was worth the credit hit to just walk away from it!)

Within that hour the woman who mugged her had used her debit card 3 times at the same gas station 30 miles away.

This is what USAA told me last year when I was looking to purchase in a possible duty station change.
