Is the split one person has the capital but not the time/energy for the work, and the other is the opposite? 

Electricity if you're doing climate control, temperature control, humidity control, you can get. 

The comments on the basement (electrical panel, ceiling, etc.) are spot on and would make people question the rest of the work. 

How much capital, time, and energy can you put in to markets farther from your local area.

We enclosed a couple of them and poured concrete floors in them and added electric for an additional $15 per square foot or so. 

The first was changing a small electrical sub panel which currently holds 2 fuses to an up to code breaker box.

Just like if there is a plumbing or electrical issue those subs come back no problem..
