HiI’m looking at a triplex in a Minneapolis suburb.

We have been renting for four years in a condo we love, 5 minutes from downtown Minneapolis.

I owner occupy an up/down duplex built in 1900 in Minneapolis, MN.

My question is this how would one propose 1) A new rate and secondly, if the lease agreements are now month to month, here in Minneapolis are their guidelines in place that would prevent me from increasing this rate to a more landlord friendly price point.

Really curious as to how you are finding the market today and what your experience has been.  Bonus points for any agent recommendations.

It's a single family home in Minneapolis (specifically in Robbinsdale) and I always thought I would manage my first property so I could learn as much as I can (the good and the bad) on the job vs. outsourcing right away.I'm rethinking this approach due to my availability and was wondering if anyone new of any good property managers in the area?
