Probably not, because in some states would change the tax status of the property to Secondary which could be a red flag for USDA especially if they are the ones you are making the payments to, which is the case with USDA Direct loans. 

Our policies clearly state 4 PM check in, and I couldn't accommodate an early check in anyway because the previous guests were still there and had until 10 AM to check out, then the house needed cleaning.

So the second knows the status of the first..

But then again, I've heard that as long as you keep everything up to par with the llc's basics  (separate bank acct, current llc status w state,  properly funded,  no co-mingling, etc) it holds up in court even if single member.

You may have a grasp on this aspect, but there are items to consider that can play a big factor when choosing your land such as topography, existing zoning & platted lot status, minimum/maximum requirements such as parking, detention, size of building, setbacks.
