Oh, on the opposite side of this wall are some additional pantry areas with shelves and another recessed area for more cabinets.I had hope to put the fridge there, but it's not deep enough - only 24".

If you have $150k you can look for other condos who do not have rental restrictions (make sure you read the entire bylaws, some condos allowed exemptions during the recession but they can enforce the original rules at any time) or use the money as a down payment on a bigger property

When the economy shows signs of weakening, I will pull back on new HML's.As far as equity deals, I don't touch them is the debt is over 70% and I  over 50% of my capital is in mobile home and self storage investments, which should do fine in a recession.
