You can use this to buy a property, refinance the money out and buy more in the same fashion (please do your research) and when you reach a certain level of cash flow that more than pays your bills then you could quit your job if you want to.

Hey @C-Dell J. no I had no luck but also I've just decided to go the old fashioned route. 

I realized after making my post that this probably isn't a very active topic on this forum so I decided to just do some old fashioned digging.

its a nice niche …  I like the under 11 units I looked at a 120 unit project on land I owned.. but it simply did not pencil in any fashion.. 

My wife and I are first time homebuyers in the market for a multi-family that would also by our primary residence in Newton, MA and would love to talk to someone that has started in a similar fashion in the area and would be willing to share advise on successes (or failures!)

I'm okay with good old fashioned go to the courthouse and find your lists, but if there is an easier, more efficient way, I am all ears....suggestions? 

I have sent the security deposit back to them in a timely fashion(which they already accepted) and only deducted 1/2 the cost of damages in the property since they were so cooperative in their move out, which I regret already.

@Ayannah Nyzhari' Chapman, If a seller is asking you "Are you still in the market," I would think they are assuming that you already do deals in some fashion.
