Being a landlord is not rocket science buy most seem to be afraid of the responsibility and defer to their lawyer for every little detail.

seems like you have never done it and dont know where to start. which is never good because you can change your mind midway.look at the baths and kitchens on my site, we have it down to a science. quote me if you have questions so i can reply.

If you change your mind again, I would vote Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical engineering with a minor in Computer Science or Dentistry ( Specialized is even better: Ortho, Pedodontist, etc...).  

It's fascinating- for the same square footage, a two family can be priced well below a single family right next door, yet the two family also has a higher total rental rate.

But the pitbull fan sites are also extremely biased. livescience.com is unbiased and science-based. 

What are the signs I should look for/track to tell me what direction prices would likely be headed (obviously this isn't a perfect science)?

But "all" is a poor word for that since that can be worth a lot.Again it ain't rocket science.
