Also pretty sure that the condo association would no permit it (and it's working great).Honeywell does have some updated models that will work, but I don't see any that are smart/Wi-Fi.

Also have an understanding of housing demand versus supply for houses and apartment rents (I wish I considered those factors when buying my first home).Also, make sure you understand debt financing and you spending time modeling out your costs. 

There are a number of business models what can work in Albany.

I had recently sold a model match in the same community that I had also remodeled so I had a sold comp at $237k.

It took a bit longer to sell than normal because inventory rose temporarily and we messed up our own comps because I bought a second model match unit in the same community a few weeks after the first purchase for $188,000.

Also, we are 1/2 mile from 2 major grocery stores and all of the home delivery you could want, whereas I'm guessing that's not the case up at the lake.
