but I think its a little unrealistic to invest in non performing and probably second position notes and expect to not lose money on some or many of them.. if they represented that you would not lose then that certainly is not right..

If you don't need them you would be just as well getting the higher annual deductions than the one time claim, as either way you are going to be recapturing the depreciation if you sell.
