I try to shovel the snow from my neighbors walks when I do the rental, and other little things like that.

LOLI have said in the past , the ones making the money are selling the lists  Just like during the gold rush the guys that made bank sold shovels, picks, pans and mule's. 

@Dale Meredith, If you've never turned a shovel on that property it's pretty clear that your intent was to hold for productive investment use. 

There are hundreds of nails per sq/ft because of all of the layers of roofing and your shovel can barely move when stripping.

Exceptions might be if you had duplexes, with individual driveways, they take care of their own shoveling/plowing; yards that are split so that each unit has their own defined, enclosed property; etc. 

It was going to cost around $80K before even putting a shovel in the ground.
