I just always have another set of eyes on my projects so I dont make mistakes. 

Keep an eye on properties for sale in your market, what they are selling for, and what features buyers are looking for.

And I always recommend you keep an eye on the deals you have already underwritten.  

Prior to thinking about a rent reduction, wait two to four weeks, keep an eye on local rental costs, and interest rates.

I see a lot of both kinds of deals and frankly am an advocate of both as long as you go in with eyes wide open.

It's part keeping an eye on things, but it's also part pride.

The problems began when the definition of squatting was extended to include occupying buildings, not just vacant land.Squatting has been around forever, but the politicians and justice system turning a blind eye is new.
