I have a background in sales and physician network development.We've begun reading and digesting the Getting Started Guide in addition to the suggested links and podcasts. 

I have a lot that I am looking to develop into a tract of Single Family homes.  

Also Inside Self-Storage does a big convention in Vegas that has some excellent educational tracts.

I'm on the road right now so will need to reread tonight to fully digest but overall it is nice to know what I already suspected that major banks are not a great option, and that there are other ways to skin a cat here.

., if you would be giving-up You are on the right tract to analyse the property as if all units were being rented and current rental rates.  

Rents here are steady and taxes under 50k price point are digestible.

One thing, no pun intended, I am planning to do is read and digest legal documents periodically. 

I have begun to play in this arena, found an awesome local Cleveland, Ohio Platform - they have an awesome Q&A area, really simple to digest and understand.

Having lived in Silicon Valley (SF Bay Area) I can attest that REI values can be irrational.Pure supply & demand (greedy Capitalism) controls RE.We bought in Cupertino (home of Apple ) '93 for 37k a tract 3/2. 

My desire is to acquire and flip 7-10 "Ugly Farmland" tracts.
