Others are relationship driven and originate in other ways through social gatherings and philanthropic endeavors. 

This is an irresponsible mistake by the CPA, I would make sure to fire him and leave bad reviews on all their social media accounts.

It can take a long time to get paid but she will eventually get the money because the govt will withhold tax refunds, and even social security.
