Okay...been reading through the newsletter and now I'm pissed because I will be hooked to the site all night tonight again :mrgreen: I don't think I have been able to sleep more than 4 hours a night recently b/c I am soaking up all of the good content!

They technically want you to build some type of containment to trap the water and then dispose of it rather than let it soak into the ground.

The subfloor doesn't look damaged looking up from the basement, but the luan is soaked and has buckled under both cabinets plus a little more in front causing the peal-and-stick tile to come up a little.

We discovered that the sheet-rock/ceiling board was "cheesy" in that it was crumbly and felt like it was a tad moist/had been wet at some time previously (not soaking wet/active leak).
