I personally wouldn't advise you to stay in Columbia just to start your pursuit to be a realtor. 

The deals that I've been involved with so far have been pretty good and made me want to pursuit real estate investing as a side-career, and hopefully one day in the future turn it into my full time business.Real estate investing is not an easy thing to do! 

This tells me that to most people wealth is a never ending pursuit to hit the next level. 

Indicating your goals is a great way to find management firms who can help you execute that strategy.Do you already own the first asset or in pursuit? 

My instinct is that it all comes down to the numbers and if the comps and the ARV are proving that there is some equity in the deal then it's a worthy pursuit.

Wealth can mean different aspects but most agree it is freedom and choices that attract us toward it's pursuit.

I promise im capable of taking it from there and/or deciding if its a worthwhile pursuit.

My wife and I are in pursuit of our first real estate deal: We are primarily looking for a 2-4 unit building house hack in Chicago, but also exploring other possibilities.  

To be more successful, you simply have to work on the other elements to progress your REI pursuit.
