So my advice to anyone that would care to hear it is, do not buy a property based upon a video since a video will not exactly show you foundation issues, and other things that only being in person can help with.

@Austin WeberHey man I was the buyers agent on that deal that fell through I can tell you all the info and send you some videos of the property.

It is especially important to go over terms and I like having a video so you can do that and a screening call before showing the place.

A cool feature on VRBO has been the allowance of a video for each property. 

Winnipeg is a "tenant friendly" city but we have a ton of people investing here because its affordable and you can screen tenants to get away from the squatters. 

It 100% depends on your goals.not to be facetious, but if you are asking because to watched a YouTube video, the answer is I would not get into STRsif the purpose is you have long term goals of investing in real estate, you enjoy hosting, and you want a place near your daughters college for when you visit, the answer might be that it’s great.it’s a mature market now.
