It will become a lien against any of his/its solely-held real estate.I once saw a show i think on 60 minutes of these traveling contractors .. some sort of eastern European ethnic group.. that set out from the east coast digs and went across the country doing these scams.and of course in the areas of the country with big hail damage you have storm cashiers that represent roofing companies. i have been called by many.. 

However, living in Canada makes things a little harder.My question is are there any other BP members who live and invest in Canada, specifically the eastern provinces?

Some cities in the Eastern PA might be possible to commute but I couldn't find a nice area yet.

That cap rate suggests to me Baltimore, Eastern Shore, or Washington County heading west.

Think Eastern plains or Western Colorado.
