Many of the buyers in the market bought for tax benefit reasons, so values dropped as they offloaded properties and as many lenders suffered.What did Reagan and the other politicians want to accomplish at that time? 

This company is disrupting the hotel industry and the hotel lobby, which is very powerful, is trying to bully cities and politicians to not allow STR.We just have different opinions.

It's a theory based on the root nature of politicians - control.

This would not be socialized medical insurance - it would be basically nonprofit medical insurance and can meet the same needs that DC politicians are publicly claiming health care legislation is for.

But wouldn't it be refreshing if a politician answered by saying yes I did it, this is why I did it, and if they felt it was a mistake, admit it?
