Short term capitol gains
Can somebody please reiterate to me how short term capitol gains are taxed? Specifically with flipping. There seems to be a lot of confusion on this subject with Investors that and it's often overlooked in a Deal Analysis.

First off, it's capitAL gain, as capitol is where all those crooked politicians hang out. ;)
Capital gains refer to assets held for a sufficient duration to earn favorable tax treatment. In real estate, you generally have to own an asset 1 year to qualify to capital gains treatment.
