Todd, as a RE agent I should not provide an opinion on the area, however I often use the “Crime and Place” app when a Buyer asks about an area’s personal and/or property crime statistics.

On the purchase side, when shopping for a home, one listed by open door on the MLS with a sign in the drive way didn't even show up on their app to view the home, so they missed a potential sale. 

Current tenants lied about smoking on their app and now the whole duplex always smells like weed.

I realized it was already built into my Wells Fargo app.

So I recently starting using and app called Landglide and a website called AcreValue, along with the county clerk website all of which give you a map with parcel lines and owner information.

Besides investing in real estate, I manage an app I developed called the Herd which brings in a decent income, I work for a leasing company between classes, I bartend on the weekend, and I help out on the family farm.
