Hi Guys,I've just moved from the UK to the US (NYC) and I'm looking to find out how everything operates over here and what I can do to get on site knowledge.I have a degree in building surveying, which is essentially facility condition assessments and while I finished top of my class I never actually managed to get on site and get that valuable construction knowledge. My plan in the UK, like I imagine many of yours is, was to buy houses BMV that required work doing e.g fire damaged houses, buy them, fix them up and sell them on at a profit.
