Has anyone on here successfully use precious metals as a medium to exchange credit such as a credit cards to cash?

I've been converting US Dollar savings to precious metals since 2005.

In San Diego water is a scarce and a precious resource.We have used percentage of water bill for units of 3 or less on a meter (not split evenly but split equitably and agreed to by tenants as part of the lease). 

They cover many forms of investments - Single Family (and different options with this), Multi-Family (which is what we do), Precious Metals, Life Insurance (which you can borrow against your own policy and use that money to invest), International Investment opportunities, Coffee Farm Investments, etc.

that's all it has ever taken me....I'm not going to claim that they're might not be a few thousand in expenses that I didn't account for, although I have no idea where they may come from.... because I have talked to all the relevant government departments and got everything down to the penny, and that includes your precious little "hookup" fee.... and even if there is an extra $3,000, that does not break my bank on the deal.

I try to take 20% and donate part in contributions, conserve cash, buy food and other storage necessities, and also precious metals bullion.I'm well aware that this list would be different if I was compiling it as a 20-year-old, or 30-year-old, or 40-year-old, or 50 year old.

These are precious to me and I dont want to give them up for a more expensive commerical loan unless I am up against the 10 loan limit and I am not there yet.
