Insurance company for rental property

Hello BP community,

I am a newbie investor based in Wakefield, RI and looking for buy and hold properties in need of rehab work. After 20 + years in France, my wife who is from New England and I decided to move back to the US . I guess it was my turn to follow her. In the past, we have handled several renovation projects in the south of France without knowing there were flips and always added value to our homes. We purchased this year a 4 bedroom rental property in Narragansett and used Rhode Island joint Reinsurance Association as insurance company. We were told this was the only insurance company handling rental properties in RI...The cost was 2000 USD per year. Is it pretty much normal for a SFH rental? Do you know any other insurance companies?

Thank you for your precious help. I have discovered BP only recently and I am blown away by the sharing spirit it carries.
