If so, make sure agreement is in writing, signed by both parties, specifies new end date and ensures any existing security deposit will still be dealt with properly per landlord/tenant laws, and I'd also ask for a partial payment to be issued at signing to make obtaining his new place easier.

I am not familiar with amending in Turbotax, but one thing to note is on the timeline for filing amends (you have some time still, but also good to be aware): Generally, to claim a refund, you must file an amended return within 3 years after the date you filed your original return or 2 years after the date you paid the tax, whichever is later.

I do think that new investors should spend a lot more time doing research on their own with books, internet education, and Bigger Pockets before ever considering any high level coaching programs.
