As a syndicator, I have been on calls with a few potential investors and I can rather quickly tell that this investor armed with 1,000 questions perhaps from Brian's book or a syndication book is about to unnecessarily exhaust both of us with a bunch of questions turning a 15-min getting-to-you-know-you call to a full-blown FBI interrogation.

'New York hard money lender' would be a reasonable starting point.If you've exhausted those above options, then you might, as mentioned, try looking at individual private money lenders, financing the deal out of your own pocket, or focusing on deals where the loan amounts are higher to entice a wider pool of lenders.Hope this helps,Michael
