People fraudulently obtain an emotional support animal to circumvent the no-pet policy in rentals.

The issue I'm running into is that I'm thinking of investing in my hometown area - where I no longer live but still have family - and I believe more emotional perceptions may be dictating whether I think I want to invest in one area over another.

Need to regulate my emotions better, and get back to business-think :)   Thanks for your input, I will consider.    

I am living proof that with determination, hope, and constant work, the ability to move, mentally emotionally, physically, and professionally, in a positive direction can be done. 

@Brett Schmidt run the numbers for both scenarios and look at COC return... it will taking the emotions and guessing out of your decision 

If it helps, sometimes looking at the house as a 3-5 year stepping stone instead of a forever home can cut out some of those "dream home" emotions. 

I’m not planning to leave anything to my kids except hopefully the knowledge and drive to be the best versions of themselves physically spiritually emotionally charitably mentally and financially.

This isn’t a long term play, so I’m not emotionally attached to the condo or a house, just want to do what makes the most sense.

Given that ANY tenant can get their pet anointed as an Emotional Support Animal and you can't do anything about it, I'd just assume they will have a pet and allow it upfront.

Emotional Intelligence is pretty good too.
