The garage at our lakehouse is off limits as we store a bunch of stuff for the house in there as well as tools and our watercraft.We are far out of the main town and we have very little crime so most folks just keep their kayaks on the beach and bicycles either on the deck on in front of the garage.I am going to add a bike rack to the side so folks will have some kind of security feeling.

I paid for extensive repairs for one of my my rental properties deck in 2022.

We will also be putting together a pitch deck for other investors who wish to do the same thing with us.If anyone knows someone we should be talking to or just has some general advice we would greatly appreciate it! 

I would review the pitch deck - not really understanding what I was looking at - and call the sponsor and ask a few questions.  

I spent $20,000 on replacing decking front and back.

I will be matching the rest of the neighborhood with looks (updating windows, new deck, landscaping, curb appeal) What was the outcome?

I finally got my parents on deck to support my real estate journey rather then the traditional college route.

However, I am wondering about how we should handle the large deck on the outside of our house that will have a hot tub.  

There’s a large first level bump out and a back deck.
