My focus evolved into full time residential real estate as my flipping & wholesaling business grew.  

I am just trying to give the right background and context.I grew up moving from one rented house to another, almost every 11 months if not more frequent than that.

I grew up in the city and now beyond ready to get back into one.

But I grew complacent, got married, had children blah blah blah.

I grew up in Silver Spring.

I currently live and own my own residence in Chicago but am looking to invest in Central Illinois (Springfield, Bloomington, Peoria, & Normal) as that area is where I grew up and am most familiar.  

I always wanted to invest in real estate because I grew up with the concept of "people always need a place to stay".

Hey guys, I grew up in queens, and currently rent in Brooklyn, but I've been thinking about house hacking a multi fam in the Bronx since prices there are a bit more reasonable.

Listening to the podcasts it seems that much of the success stories staring with jobs just invested and grew without having these advantages (business)?

I'm just a guy who had an opportunity to be a contestant on Wheel of Fortune, WON the show, and grew an interest in real estate (Wholesale, particularly) to protect and grow my wealth.
