What letter/postcard do you guys use that is most effective.

I need to increase my production rate so I want to start printing postcards and yellow letters but I don't know what I need except a printer, stamps, envelopes, and paper.Are there any specific types of printer or paper I would need?

Next steps: 1) Create a flyer or Postcard that we can hand out 2) Create a more professional business card (currently have my ASU email)3) Knock on moor doors4) We are going to pick two neighborhoods and test a different marketing plan in each and whichever wins we take the winner and then a new idea and repeat.

Even if its just collecting leads from craigslist, designing a postcard, making an offer, cold calling leads it will help to keep you moving forward.The gurus have their expensive classes and they claim its because they want you to have this feeling of being committed.

I'd probably send them a postcard first if you have a few weeks.

You have to pound the pavement, knock on doors, send out postcards, hold open houses for other agents under your broker until you start making money.

You could track down the owners using public records through the Public Trustee or Tax assessor (not sure if you have property taxes where you are) and write or send a post card expressing interest in buying the property.

I am also starting to do more D4D and reaching out to those owners using a property-specific mailing, and I want to try out postcards.
