Talk to a City Planner about the possibility of rezoning your property.

Rent the STRs to the lower management of refinery contractors (project managers, foremen, engineers, planners, etc). 

Finance becomes financial planners a higher paying career.

I am hoping that I can get some sort of assurance from them regarding my ability to cut after the standard October 15th deadline but being a planner, I want to figure out any options I have now.Any thoughts/ideas welcomed! 

There are financial planners doing time for running ponzi schemes with their investors money.  

And here comes the new proposal.Today I received an email from the Colorado Springs City Planner notifying me of a public hearing for a new proposed "density" ordinance for STRs. 

If that is the case, you will most likely have to go through the CUP process, I doubt that the CUP will be in place so you would need to go through that process.When I want to find out information about the area or zoning for a deal I typically go into the planning depart (just walk in and talk to the desk planner there) and ask. 

But, where I am, I'm better of calfling expeditors, many of whom are engineers or architects, who deal with issues of zoning.Unfortunately, most people on this site are real estate investors, look at it from a real estate standpoint, rather than from a city planner standpoint.

Talking to an estate planner would likely be very beneficial to you.
