The challenge in the space if you either pay for a company’s excessive marketing budget or deal with some seriously awful interfaces that are common in the legacy enterprise software space because traditional short term rental managers were large firms that required managing hundreds of rentals at a time and could pay a full-time person to just sit there and learn the software. 

Jason Hartley from what I saw, tenant cloud has great user interface and an app for Mobil.

Part of the decision is what kind of reports do they have, how friendly and easy to use is the user interface, and, especially, how many and which databases does the service interface with and how well do they integrate the data from the various sources? 

Paperport combines the scanning interface with file system management so you can control which folders the receipts are scanned to on your PC. 

You could do ALL the work (interfacing with the contractors, etc.......but, keeping the mentor informed of every step....having the mentor do onsite inspections at critical steps...) and offer them fifty, sixty, or seventy percent of profit as "tuition".  

IMO, PhoneBurner has a more user friendly interface, along with a more customizable contact attributes. 

It sounds like you should hire a property manager and not interface with tenants. 

So I would say that zillow is useful enough at least to someone like me.I've tried redfin but find the interface less than intuitive and don't really believe it gives me the information I like to see when evaluating deals.btw: I use realtor.com, hudhomestore, hubzu and homesearch for finding the homes.

Having multiple interfaces can add possible confusion and complication.

I have been told that NREIG is working on a better user interface (I have been hearing this for over a year).
