One way to ensure you stay committed is to engage in the forums, network with local investors, and read books!

Much better to get your own financial house in order so you can buy a house in the conventional fashion rather than engage in a lease/option.

The flip side is that that is a lot of energy and motivation to be picked up from being engaged with a group like this.
