I'm not aware of any way to get money out of the business at anything less than the top tax rates so if you, or anyone else reading this has ideas, I'm all ears.Since we are now connected on LinkedIn, we can chat about the money thing, but my belief is that investing in real estate in most cities in Canada does not typically throw off enough cash for someone to live on.

But we made about $14000 wholesaling the next door fourplex and we got this one under market (it appraised for $40,000 more than we bought it)But it’s still frustrating that he is throwing a fit and putting holes in the walls.

Maybe offer half-off rent, or maybe offer to throw in a $200 wal-mart gift card, something for the holidays.. for the right price/incentives, things can be rented!

Hey buddy-o, you can either fix the electrical and have a handyperson throw some handrails up, or this property is going to someone using fix-n-flip financing, which carries double digit interest rates, meaning the offer must be lowball by necessity.
