7 Dogs and 5 Chickens - First Rental Prospective Tenant

We just put our first property for rent: 2,800 sq ft, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fenced yard, quiet neighbor in Smithfield, NC. We closed on 9/5, renovations are almost done, and we are eager to generate revenue. The property manager asked if we were ok with a veterinarian applicant who is bringing 5 small dogs, 1 regular size poodle and 5 chickens. Would you rent to a tenant with so many animals?

Good grief, no. I have a limit of two free range critters.

If you do decide to accept that one, I hope they charge a hefty pet fee!
